Fish It! Roblox: Fishing Collection Overview & How to Play
Fish It! is a free Roblox fishing and collection simulator by Fish Atelier. You cast from docks and boats, reel in rare catches, sell them for coins, and sail between islands to fill an enormous fish index—over a million variations according to the official listing.
What is Fish It!?
Released in October 2024, Fish It! sits in Roblox’s simulation / incremental lane and regularly sits near the top of the live player charts. The pitch is simple: fish with friends (or solo), upgrade rods and bobbers, buy a boat, and chase seasonal events. The developer openly lists Fisch and Fishing Simulator as inspiration, but the catch minigame here is its own—charge, cast, then click fast to reel.
Recent updates have added boss battles, an alien invasion event, pixel pet eggs, skin crates with animated rods, and a Hallows Eve content drop with new fish, secrets, a limited battle pass, and gacha.
How to play
- Spawn on Fisherman Island (the starter hub; older guides may call the area Stingray Shores).
- Equip your rod, face the water, and hold click to charge your cast (aim for a strong luck charge).
- Release to cast. When a fish bites, click rapidly to reel it in—this is not Fisch’s bar-following minigame.
- Sell catches to the merchant for coins, then spend on better rods, bobbers, and a boat.
- Sail to other islands (including volcanic spots like Kohana) to unlock new fish pools and free upgrade opportunities such as the Lava Rod route.
Use the in-game Fish Index to see which species belong to each area, and keep an eye on quests on the side of the screen for early XP and coins.
Platforms
Play Fish It! free on Roblox via PC, mobile, tablet, or console through the Roblox client. Max server size is typically around 20 players.
Beginner tips
- Sell before you overspend — a fancy rod will not help if you never buy a boat to leave the starter island.
- Learn charge vs reel — holding to cast and mashing to reel are two separate steps; do not mash before you cast.
- Follow quests early for XP and unlocks such as better auto-fishing options later.
- Join the official group on Roblox if you want updates and feedback channels listed by the developer.
- Check the creator name — search for Fish Atelier’s Fish It! so you do not join a copycat experience.
