MEDVED Roblox: Overview, How to Play & Beginner Tips

MEDVED 🐻‍❄️ (Hunt & Become Bears) is a multiplayer survival experience by Roblox High IQ Society. Explore a vast snowy world, hunt mutant bears (Medveds)—or become one yourself—and uncover why these creatures are here.

What Is MEDVED?

Up to around 35 players share a cold open-world map with day/night cycles, caves, wreckage sites, labs, and outdoor landmarks. Your main long-term goal is collecting 32 lore pages scattered across the tundra while earning cash from survival and supply crates. Pages fill in the story; completing the collection path can unlock ways to transform into a bear and hunt other players.

Bear variants range from fast tiny mutants to more dangerous bosses—some are far deadlier than others—so learning threats matters as much as exploration.

How to Play

• Explore and survive — Move between shelters, caves, and landmarks while listening for nearby pages and bears.
• Collect lore pages — Pages make sound when you're close; a page tracker item helps. Check bases, caves, airplane wreckage, Star Labs maze areas, graveyards, bridges, and more.
• Earn and spend cash — Passive survival income plus crates fund tools like tasers and speed coils.
• Hunt or flee — Fight when prepared; escape when a dangerous variant shows up.
• Become a bear (late goal) — Collect all 32 pages, progress maze/lab objectives, and use the lab's bear mushroom path to turn the tables.

Beginner Tips

• Use indoor shelters and cameras — Bases are safer hubs; learn camera coverage before long outdoor runs.
• Buy mobility and stun tools early — Speed coils and tasers buy time against aggressive bears.
• Listen for page audio cues — Don't sprint past collectibles; slow down when you hear them.
• Learn variant behavior — Tiny bears chase hard; other mutants need different counters (lockers, distance, tools).
• Loot crates safely — Cash is useful, but open crates with an escape route planned.
• Save bear transformation for readiness — The 32-page route is a long goal—enjoy exploration while you build map knowledge.
