Tower Defense Simulator Beginner Guide – Towers, Loadouts & Early Wins
What Tower Defense Simulator is
Tower Defense Simulator (TDS) by Paradoxum Games is a Roblox tower-defense game. You place and upgrade towers along a path, protect your base health, and unlock harder modes, maps, and towers with Coins and Gems.
What to do in the lobby
- Claim Login Rewards and Playtime Rewards every session.
- Open Items to equip a five-tower loadout (fifth slot unlocks at higher level).
- Redeem any active Codes for free Coins, towers, or crates.
- Join the Paradoxum Games Roblox group if you want the advertised starting-cash bonus.
Starter gameplay loop
- Queue Easy or Casual survival first — harder modes pay more but punish weak loadouts.
- Place early DPS (Scout / Soldier / Militant-style towers) on corners and U-turns where enemies linger in range.
- Add an economy tower such as Farm so later waves stay affordable.
- Upgrade a few strong towers instead of flooding the map with level-0 placements.
- Skip waves only when your defense is already stable.
Beginner loadout ideas
- Early: Scout / Soldier + Farm + a mid-cost DPS tower you own.
- As you unlock more: Farm, Commander (firerate support), Militant/Minigunner-style carry, plus a flexible filler.
- Cliff towers (Sniper and similar) belong on cliff pads — ground towers cannot use those spots.
Placement and targeting tips
- White range circles mean a valid placement; red overlap means you are blocked.
- Default targeting is First — switch to Strongest for bosses when needed.
- Hidden, Flying, and Lead enemies need towers with the matching detection; upgrade paths matter.
Common beginner mistakes
- Buying every cheap tower instead of upgrading a core carry.
- Skipping Farm and running out of cash on later waves.
- Jumping into Fallen/Hardcore before Easy/Casual feels automatic.
- Ignoring daily/weekly quests that fund your next tower unlocks.
Win Easy/Casual consistently with Farm + focused upgrades, then climb modes as your tower roster grows.
