Type Soul Beginner Guide – Races, Missions & First Builds

What TYPE://SOUL is

TYPE://SOUL is a Bleach-inspired Roblox ARPG. You pick a race (Soul Reaper, Hollow, or Quincy), unlock Flashstep and combat skills, then climb Grades through missions, raids, and PvP. This guide focuses on your first hours so you do not waste rerolls.

Best starting path

  • Soul Reaper is the most beginner-friendly race for learning missions, Flashstep, and party content.
  • Finish the tutorial and starter missions before experimenting with PvP lobbies.
  • Unlock mobility (Flashstep) and a basic Soul Style kit early — positioning matters more than raw damage at first.

Progression loop

  1. Keep a Mission Board quest active whenever you play.
  2. Push toward Grade 3 and join early division / faction content when it unlocks (Division 12 is a common early Soul Reaper target).
  3. Claim daily and weekly bounties or quests for free materials and reroll currency.
  4. Farm raids and bosses with a group — soloing high-level content usually stalls new accounts.

Combat basics

  • Learn M1 strings, block, parry, and dodge timing in safer PvE before ranked fights.
  • Do not spam block; face the attack, then punish endlag.
  • Save awakening / domain-style tools for moments when you already have space and health.

Rerolls and codes

  • Save clan, element, and weapon rerolls until you know which build you want to main.
  • Redeem working codes after you meet the minimum rank requirement (often Semi-Rank 2).
  • Use the official Type Soul Trello / Discord for current race skills, raid info, and patch notes.

Beginner mistakes

  • Burning every reroll on day one.
  • Skipping missions to chase PvP cosmetics.
  • Trying to solo content meant for parties.
  • Ignoring mobility skills and eating every combo.

Pick Soul Reaper, keep missions active, and bank rerolls until your build direction is clear — that is the cleanest Type Soul start.
