Adopt Me Beginner Guide — Pets, Bucks, and Halloween Ghost Gallery
Adopt Me! by Uplift Games is a pet-care and roleplay world on Roblox. New players raise pets from eggs, earn Bucks, decorate houses, and join seasonal events. This guide covers your first session and the current Halloween Ghost Gallery loop.
First steps in Adopt Me
- Join the official experience: Adopt Me!.
- Claim your starter house and explore Adoption Island.
- Visit the Nursery to buy or receive eggs, then hatch them into pets.
- Feed, drink, sleep, and potty your pet on a regular cycle — a cared-for pet grows from Newborn → Junior → Pre-Teen → Teen → Post-Teen → Full Grown.
- Earn Bucks by completing pet care tasks, playing minigames, and selling unwanted items.
Pet growth and aging tips
- Keep food, water, and rest meters filled so aging stays efficient.
- Full Grown pets can be traded more confidently and used for neon/mega crafting later.
- Never rush big trades on day one — learn values and use trusted trading plazas in-game.
Halloween: Ghost Gallery basics
During the Halloween event, head to the Halloween Manor near the Nursery and queue for Ghost Gallery:
- Equip a pet, then follow it to shaking or highlighted furniture and shoot to release ghosts.
- Defeat released ghosts, then prepare for the Ghost Boss near the end of the round.
- Stay for the full round to maximize Candy Corn and key rewards.
- Spend Candy Corn on event pets and items; clear Crypt levels for free event pets when available.
Safety and trading
- Adopt Me no longer uses a public promo-code box — ignore “free Bucks/pet codes” floating online.
- Never share account passwords or follow off-platform “giveaway” links.
- Use in-game trade windows only; double-check both sides before confirming.
Useful habits
- Log in for daily and event rewards.
- Focus on one pet family or event collection instead of buying every shop item.
- Play with friends for house parties and safer early trades.
