Forsaken Beginner Guide: Generators, Terror Radius & First Survivors
This guide solves one problem: how to survive your first Forsaken rounds as a survivor—generators, terror radius, starter characters, and Malice. Play the official experience on Roblox — Forsaken (Forsaken Dev Team). Overview: Forsaken.
What this guide solves
New survivors start generators while chase music is playing, mute audio, and trade hits with killers who have thousands of HP. Forsaken is a 1-killer vs survivors loop: survivors win by making the timer hit zero; killers win by eliminating everyone first.
- Goal: Complete generators safely, use audio warning, and earn Player Points without feeding free downs.
- Focus: Generators + terror radius + one easy survivor kit.
- Non-goal: Every killer matchup or paid skin grind on day one.
Step-by-step: first ten rounds
1. Understand the win condition
- One player is the killer; the rest are survivors (server cap around nine).
- Rounds start with a multi-minute timer. Survivors want it to expire; the killer wants a wipe first.
- You do not win by “fair” duels—you win by objectives and spacing.
2. Generators are the only public objective
- Five generators spawn each map. Up to three survivors can repair one at once.
- Repair opens a wire-connection puzzle (connect matching colors/numbers without crossing).
- Each completed puzzle layer shaves time; finishing generators is how survivors accelerate the clock.
- Taking damage ejects you and resets puzzle progress—never start a gen when killer music is already loud.
3. Learn terror radius (audio)
Every killer has a terror radius (distance where chase music kicks in). Wide-radius killers give long warning; narrow-radius killers punish late exits. Keep music audible—muting removes your early-warning system.
4. Starter characters
- Survivors: Noob, Shedletsky, or Elliot are the free low-difficulty options. Shedletsky / Elliot are widely recommended for new players; Noob uses simpler consumable items with a lower ceiling.
- Killers (when selected): Slasher and c00lkidd are the approachable free starters.
- Other characters cost Player Points earned from objectives and match results (public matches).
5. Malice and killer selection
Malice helps decide who becomes killer next. A “Disable Being Killer” style setting can stop you gaining more Malice, but it does not erase an already-highest value—treat it as a brake, not absolute protection.
6. Survivor items (killers cannot pick up)
- Bloxy Cola: Short speed boost after a drink animation—do not spam back-to-back for full value.
- Medkit: Healing. Watch for fake cola/medkit lookalikes that do nothing.
- Learn the drop input (PC: Backspace or double-click icon; mobile: double-tap) before you need it mid-chase.
Tips and common mistakes
- Mistake — genning through chase music: Damage resets the puzzle.
- Mistake — trading hits: Survivor HP is low; killer HP is huge. Stun to save teammates, do not brawl for pride.
- Mistake — muted audio: Terror radius is an audio tool.
- Tip — line of sight: Break LOS with walls/corners when looping.
- Tip — status icons: Bleed / Vulnerable / Blindness / Helpless each change how you play—read them when they appear.
FAQ
How do I unlock more characters?
Earn Player Points from repairs, survivals, and match results, then buy kits in the inventory. Some characters use quest unlocks instead of a flat purchase.
Is there a redeem-code menu?
Forsaken does not currently ship a public promo-code system. Ignore random “codes” videos; progress comes from Player Points and gameplay.
Survivor or killer first?
Learn survivor generators and audio first. Killer games make more sense after you know how gens and looping feel from the other side.
