Jailbreak Beginner Guide: Escape, Rob, and Buy Your First Car
What this Jailbreak beginner guide covers
Roblox Jailbreak by Badimo is a cops-and-robbers sandbox. Your first hour decides whether the map feels huge and confusing or like a clear loop: escape → rob → cash out → buy mobility. This guide focuses on that loop so you stop dying with a full bag and start banking cash.
Step 1: Pick Prisoner (then peek as Police once)
At spawn you choose Prisoner or Police.
- Prisoner / Criminal — Escape the Prison, rob stores and heists, cash in at criminal bases, outrun cops. Best way to learn the map.
- Police — Spawn free with arrest tools and station vehicles. Great for ATM code redeems, scouting Rising City from a helicopter, then switching back to Prisoner.
Tip: Do one short Police session for codes and map scouting, then rejoin as Prisoner for the real progression loop.
Step 2: Escape with at least two routes
You cannot rob while stuck in orange. Learn two exits so yard campers cannot soft-lock you:
- Sewers — Drop through a yard/station hatch, ride the current, climb an exit ladder outside the walls.
- Power box — Punch the box near the gun shop / station wall until the gate opens, then parkour out.
- Keycard / pickpocket — Steal a cop keycard from behind, then use doors, vents, or parking controls.
- C4 / exploding wall — Trade with Rusty for a chance at C4 and plant it on the marked weak wall.
After a clean escape you usually get a starter pistol — do not pick fights with armed cops yet.
Step 3: First easy robberies
Keep the first score simple. Rising City favorites for new criminals:
- Donut Shop — Small, quick, low heat.
- Jewelry Store — Break cases, watch lasers, exit toward the nearby criminal base.
- Gas / grocery-style stores when open for pocket cash.
Save Museum, Crown Jewel, and Power Plant until you know Volcano cash-in and have a partner for tougher runs.
Step 4: Cash out before you flex
Loot in your bag is not banked until you hit a collector.
- Jewelry Store loot can turn in at the Rising City criminal base (closest) or travel to Volcano if cops camp the city base.
- Many larger heists expect Volcano Criminal Base turn-ins.
Watch the minimap for red threats. Never AFK with a full bag outside a base ramp — dying or getting arrested can wipe a run you already earned.
Step 5: Buy a Camaro (or equivalent starter)
Your first big quality-of-life purchase is usually a Camaro or another cheap, reliable garage car. Mobility beats a fancy gun you cannot reposition with. A basic car lets you rotate robberies, reach Volcano, flee yard campers, and finish driving contracts.
Step 6: Season contracts while you play
Open the season board and grab easy daily tasks: short drives, small robberies, arrests (if cop), or “play for X minutes” goals. Stack contracts with actions you already planned so XP is free. Check the in-game season UI for the current season end date and rewards.
Keybinds worth remapping day one
- WASD — move / drive
- E — interact (ATM, vehicles, pickpocket, robbery props)
- Tab — inventory / tools context
- Custom keybinds and mobile UI editors shipped in 2026 — remap awkward keys immediately if E or inventory feels wrong.
First-hour checklist
- Redeem live codes at an ATM (Police join is often fastest).
- Escape once without dying to the fence.
- Rob Donut or Jewelry.
- Cash in successfully.
- Buy a starter car.
- Claim and finish one season contract.
Common beginner mistakes
- Fighting armed cops right after escape.
- Dying with a full bag before cash-out.
- Buying cosmetics before a car.
- Learning only one escape route.
Nail the escape–rob–cash loop before chasing every garage item. Once that feels automatic, bigger heists and endgame vehicles click much faster.
