Loomian Legacy Beginner Guide (2026) — Starters & First Routes

Loomian Legacy by Llama Train Studio is Roblox’s long-running creature RPG set in Roria. Your first hours are about picking a starter, learning routes, and building a small balanced team — not perfect stats.

Launch and Mitis Town

Load in near Mitis Town, talk to marked tutorial NPCs, and open the menus for party, bag, and storage. Story gates block bridges and routes until you finish short steps, so do not skip markers. Grab early closet/tutorial supplies (meds and Capture Discs) before you leave town.

The Loomian Center heals your whole party for free — use it between routes instead of limping into trainer fights.

Choosing a beginner Loomian

Any starter can clear early story content. Pick the type and design you like, then immediately plan to catch wild partners that cover its weaknesses. Starter choice is preference; coverage is strategy.

Routes, battles, and leveling

• Enter grass / encounter zones for wild fights; beat trainers for reliable XP.
• Fainted Loomians do not earn XP — rotate so your core stays within a few levels.
• Aim for a team of three to four Loomians instead of one overleveled carry.
• Learn basic type advantage early; switching costs a turn, so plan before super-effective hits land.

How to catch without wasting discs

1. Stock Capture Discs from shops / rewards.
2. Lower the wild Loomian’s HP carefully.
3. Use Spare (or equivalent) to leave it at 1 HP when available.
4. Sleep or paralysis improves catch odds when you have those tools.

Running from every wild battle leaves you underleveled for trainers. Catch at least two complementary types soon after the tutorial.

Early milestones

1. Build a 3–4 Loomian core with type coverage.
2. Heal at Centers after each route push.
3. Follow story toward later services such as Rally Ranch (breeding / training) when the plot unlocks it.
4. Save boost / gleaming items until you understand gleaming hunt math — do not burn them randomly on day one.

Common beginner mistakes

• Ignoring Centers and blacking out in trainer battles.
• Only teaching attack moves and failing captures at high HP.
• Releasing unlogged species before dex goals.
• Min-maxing Unique Points / training before Rally Ranch matters.
