The Strongest Battlegrounds Beginner Guide
The Strongest Battlegrounds (TSB) is a Roblox anime fighting game where every character shares the same HP pool. Clean inputs beat character hopping. This beginner guide locks the shared fundamentals before you chase flashy one-shots.
Guide researched October 27, 2026 (Pacific Time).
Pick one starter: The Strongest Hero
For your first week, stay on The Strongest Hero (Saitama-inspired). The kit teaches spacing, punish windows, and awakening discipline without burying you in specialist tech. Switching every match resets muscle memory. Once you can finish an M1 string, dash correctly, block on reaction, and convert near walls, then try a second character.
Universal combat basics
M1 four-hit string
Left click (or the mobile Attack button) starts your M1 chain. A full string is roughly 3% + 3% + 4% + 5% on the shared bar. The fourth hit is the conversion pivot for wall combos, downslams, and ability links. Stop mashing into a held block — reset neutral or bait a whiff instead.
Dashes (Q)
- Forward: W + Q — closes the gap (longer cooldown, shared with back).
- Back: S + Q — retreat / wake-up with brief armor during the rolls.
- Side: A/D + Q — shorter travel, faster cooldown (~2s). Independent of forward/back.
Learn all three before grinding wall timing. Mis-inputting W+Q when you meant S+Q is a free punish.
Block, awakening, downslam, uppercut
- Block: Hold F. You move slower and cannot freely attack, but you shut down many M1s from the front. Some moves are unblockable — respect them.
- Awakening / ultimate: Press G when the meter is full (often ~45 seconds for most kits). Landing hits fills the meter. Strongest Hero has special meter/heal rules — do not assume a free full heal.
- Downslam: Jump + click at the right point in a string to drive the opponent down.
- Uppercut: After three M1s, hold Space on the fourth to loft into juggle / wall entries.
First practice plan
- Warm up ten full M1 strings without missing the fourth hit.
- Alternate forward, back, and side dashes until the directions feel automatic.
- Block a friend’s M1 string, then release and punish — do not hold block forever.
- Pin someone against a wall, land fourth M1, wait about 0.2 seconds, forward dash. Repeat until the wall combo appears consistently.
- Fill ultimate once, press G, and note duration plus which skills change.
Use a private server or quiet lobby. Add one-shot routes and burst only after these five drills feel boring.
When to enter ranked
Ranked 1v1 and 3v3 are first-to-two formats that punish every free whiff. Enter after you can: complete M1 strings, wall combo on command, block and wake up without panic mashing, and spend ultimate with a plan. Public servers are better classrooms until then.
Mindset checklist
- One character for a week.
- Shared HP means every percent matters — do not gift wall conversions.
- Neutral is movement + block + dash, not only ability cooldowns.
- Cosmetic kill-sound IDs (VIP) are optional — they are not redeem codes for stats.
